Thankyou Amelia, for forcing me to take the indie/small corp pill
>Have far more interesting games because they don't have to deal with permissions autism
>Actually like and respect their chat, having full discussions with regulars
>Get to be comfy watching a large backlog of VODs whenever I want instead of showing up at the scheduled time only to find out the stream is cancelled or delayed by up to an hour
>Streamers actually stream for more than one hour per week and try to be entertaining because they aren't flooded with an absurd number of superchats for breathing
>They actually collab with males less than the holos do now
>Aren't godawful at video games
The biggest prank ever pulled was holofans convincing everyone that every non-holo chuuba was some whore who collabed with males at every opportunity and as someone who found vtubers through hololive (which is true for a lot of people) and only ever heard about other corps when they were involved in some drama it made sense. I still won't be watching vshojo or most of nijiEN but there is definitely more than enough indies who have comfy streams that are free of males with l2ds that are higher quality than some of the holoENs. I still think IRyS is cute however.
TL:DR Take the indiepill, you have been lied to, they are fine.

It was only recently that I decided to look for myself and found something completely different to what I saw here.
