Is there some supernatural force hidden within some of Amelia Watson's karaokes? Any person who knew anything about music could write a book on why Amelia Watson cannot sing but yet somehow me and other well adjusted productive members of society hear her singing poorly and can't look away. It's like the modern day version of the sirens of greek mythology. How does this happen? Why did god allow her to have such power without any effort? According to all known music theory, people should NOT be able to enjoy Amelia Watson singing and yet I can't stop, I listen to her when I'm cooking, I listen to her when I'm working out, I listen to her when I'm sitting at my computer creating high quality /vt/ threads. It doesn't make sense and it should not be possible. But it is, it's not a lucky day or a fluke, it has been happening for close to two years. Someone please explain the trick, there must be a reasonable explanation as to why she is able to do this to me.

When someone is simping, flaws look endearing. Pretty simple.

She can't sing well but she has passion and spirit. She's cute and has fun doing it and that's fun to watch. It's simple.

>> No.30684447

The fact she's bad at it makes it endearing. It's not difficult to understand this concept, flaws can be a good thing.

Improve yourself by not watching this vtuber. The JPs, who have actual talent are waiting for you right now.

Ame knows she isn't the best singer so she tries to make it creative or interactive. Other Vtubers can get away with just singing a set list because you are there to hear their voice, for Ame it's the random shit she does like Armando.

it's because you and the other teamates are fucking retarded and too blinded by Ame's GFE. if you had a real gf and she practiced singing in front of you you'd find it endearing as well, not because she's good - though it's certainly more effective if the singing is good - but because you have feelings for her. And I guess it's also somewhat intimate since most girls will not sing in front of just anyone regardless of their skill

also i like some of ame's music choices, some of the other ENs kinda just sing basic white girl pop music from the early 2010s and up. which is fine, but ame has done some songs i enjoy more in karaoke even if she fucking completely blows at actually singing

Seeing someone genuinely try but struggle has a magnetism of its own.

Its like watching a small animal or a fully grown retard repeatedly try to climb onto something and fail.
Its cute and strangely mesmerizing but lets not pretend like it isnt the most pathetic shit we have ever seen.

I tune into Ame's karaoke to enjoy myself in a different way. While with most others I'll enjoy the calibre of singing, and the feeling of that perfect note hitting the kokoro. With Ame it's like head bopping to someone having fun at a karaoke bar. She can sometimes bring some emotion too, depending on the song.
Although she definitely needs to start practicing some new ones to freshen it up a little.

I feel like her karaoke streams are the definition of that "She's a little confused, but she's got the spirit" meme. It's good fun.

it's the OG Idol formula, Idols weren't meant to be stupid good coming in the fun is seeing them improve overtime (which Ame has, however so slightly that was).

similar things can be seen in JP although mostly in dancing since the ones who sing in JP knows how to do so well enough (barring the tone deaf ones)

Full pasion, charisma and spirit. It makes you feel part of the karaoke like if you were with your friends just messing around, instead of feeling like the spectator who can only watch from below the stage admiring the person singing.

She's the only one who can sing without hitting any notes and start joking in middle of the songs and not get any complains, not like Mumei for example that I always see people telling her that she should stop fucking up her songs and that she should use all her potential because her autism hits her in every karaoke. In one the expectations are having fun, in the others the expectations are watching an "expert" doing a masterpiece. Karaokes are seen as serious content with days of preparation and as a "mini event" of the week, Ame makes the exact opposite choosing the same songs and practicing one hour before the stream. Fauna kinda goes the same way, but for some reason it doesn't feel the same as Ame

>> No.30691977

>>30691777
It doesn't feel the same because fauna doesn't even feel like she's singing. Just loudly talking
