Changing the model each match seems cumbersome to me. Wouldn't it be better to have an amalgamation of graduated chuubas (ex. Magnet's hoodie and Sex's horns)?

Not really. Keep in mind that most players wear a jersey, so a lot of the time only the heads and limbs change for the sake of not spending an eternity in Blender. When you only have a head to work with, making an amalgamation doesn't really work because the details won't be visible most of the time (replays are your best chance and if the player's not a medal or a regular keeper, they might not even get on the field). There's also the additional timesink of trying to add each character in a way that's not a mess.

It's a lot more, 4x to 5x more, but that's partially because I made the tourist filters easier (for better or worse) and these are very simple multiple choice questions, rather than long responses.

Additionally, I think more people have chosen to vote on this poll since it's the real roster poll. Lastly, I also assume the snowball has started to get bigger and more people have seen the threads by now compared to the first two polls.

Wow. This isn't bad at all. The blue and white from the team colors are included very well. I personally really like the orange accents, but they're definitely going to be in a wishy-washy zone because the accent color didn't survive the poll.

I do have to say that the crown and the ARS have to go. Partially because the red isn't really something /vt/ has anything to do with as a team. Yes, it would be nice to include akasupa in the logo, but it doesn't fit at all. Also, the crown should probably go. To me, it looks a bit too much like the star teams that have won an elite cup have on their logo.

So, to be transparent. The Gold medal race is pretty much decided, the Silver medal race is also pretty much decided. The first two of the three least wanted players are very much decided.

At this point, I may close the poll at 300 valid votes and call it a day. The only real reason to keep it open right now is the final slot for removed players, which is a close race of 65 votes to 62.

Couple of things:

This is probably the biggest issue. If I was an outsider and took a look at this logo, I'd have no Idea what the board is about without prior knowledge. For example, I see the /k/ logo and I know it's about going innawoods. I look at /n/ and it's easy to see that the board is about hobbies related to trains, bikes, boats and such. The references are a nice touch, but again, they don't say anything to someone who's unfamiliar with the board and it's subculture. 4CC is an event where the boards come together to showcase their own brand of autism and if /vt/ doesn't play along and focuses on entertaining its own cesspool, we'll get branded as the new /mlp/ immediately.

Including the team colors is a nice touch, but not required. Taking a look at regular jerseys and crests shows that team colors don't necessarily appear in the crest or when they do, they're paired with more intense colors and a lot of black outlines to ensure ease of visibility and recognition.
Other than that, it's a good start and I like that it takes a wider approach, as opposed to other logos in the 4CC. I'll try to make my own approach as well if I have a good idea for it.

This I struggle with the most. How do you convey the idea of a Virtual Youtuber? I didn't want to put the slihouette of a vtuber because I can hear the complaining from a mile away.

Also agree, which is why I incorporated some orange highlights. The main colours are very blendy, and other anons told me to just stick to light blue and white (which is a bad take for a crest imo, plenty of logos have tons of other colours not included in the actual team colors)

I am thinking of replaving wataball and just fill the circle with a low opacity holoball pattern, and in the middle have either a holographic youtube logo, or a holo silhouette that is very recofnizeable (probably Pekora or Friend)

I think you can't avoid using a chuuba if you want to drive the topic home. For a truly neutral option, >>1 is someone who's hard to find an argument against, aside from "X design should have won".
What I thought about as a potential design is something like pic related (excuse my shitty draft). Maybe it's a bit busy, but it clearly shows that vtubers are the main topic of discussion on this board. The rrat watching the stream and the chuuba playing divegrass are just random ideas I had.

Post a mock up of your version of the logo, or give suggestions of what you think would make for a good /vt/ crest.
