Minecraft: popular streams, but she's not an autistic block game player, so she never really captured that audience.
SC Readings: People hate SC readings, she did a lot of them early on.
Fire Emblem: Her CCV cratered thanks to this. After that she followed it up Ryza, which was even worse.
In the end what decides how many viewers a game streamer gets is game choice (who woulda guessed). After you establish a big audience with popular stream games, then you can switch to less popular ones and keep a decently sized following - but people will still leave if the games aren't interesting.

For someone whose primary content is long as fuck streams and chatting with people, having a bad voice is the worst combination you could hope for. Sometimes it makes for good moments, but it should have been something she dropped and only brought back out on occasion, like Risu does with her Ayunda voice, and it's not like her long-time fans don't know she's putting on a voice they prefer, they're accepting worse content for the sake of being polite.
The other part of her voice I hate is the voice modulators when voice acting. Just incredibly obnoxious and ruins otherwise good playthroughs, the fact that she's leaning into it more lately when her main content is long games is really worrying.

I understood why she didn't want to change it when she addressed it that one time, even if it was a fucking menhara reason, but with Tempus' best zatsudan members having talking streams around the same time she does it would be better if she just put that last bit of debut pride on the shelf and use her normal tone. Only issue is the fucking yesmen that would seed doubt by white knighting her not to change because she's been against it for so long, best thing she could do is use another outfit reveal as an excuse to "resurrect" from the ashes and lean into the health reasons to get people off her back.

Sincerely hope she changes it, I want her to do better because she totally deserves it, she's the only EN member that matches JP member's motivation, and it's such a stupid reason holding her back that it's starting to bum me out thinking about it whenever she's brought up.

I watched Kiara early on and enjoyed all the suffering in her Mario streams. I dropped her because she was streaming during hours I couldn't catch, she picked up some long-running JRPGs that I wasn't interested in, and she also had some menhera going on with the whole swapping languages thing. It was just baggage I didn't want to deal with. A while back, I decided to give her another shot. I started watching in the middle of a Diablo stream, and someone in chat said something about her English that triggered her into a defensive rant for several minutes. I stopped watching. Later, I dropped into a Tales of Whatever stream and she IMMEDIATELY said that she'd gotten a new mic, but some of her fans would still complain about her audio setup because they'd never be happy no matter what she did. I stopped watching.

JPs constantly start a conversation by talking about themself in order to offer a topic for the others to pick up. This way no one is put on the spot and a conversation can develop naturally.
Kiara's problem is that only works when the other participants in the collab are also entertainers that enjoy streaming and talking. Ina out of all people is the only one to pick up those topics and actually starts contributing to the stream.
And yes, your cope will be that "chilling" is totally content and nobody ever speaking is totally why people watch streamers.
