It might be that she is off a block someplace, it might be the way Holo uses their multidimension plugin, it might be render distance, it could be endless things. I have built similar farms and they didn’t work until I tore out all the portals and rebuilt them exactly the same. Absolutely a “shut it off then back on” thing that can happen. Guardians IME are particularly fickle, I don’t know why. The creator of the tutorial she used has all sorts of troubleshooting in the comments so she needs to start with those.
All in all it was great to see the peak gamer girl tackle something this complex and fiddly and I wish it had worked straight away. But troubleshooting it is going to be very tedious and miserable and would not make a good stream.

I went to bed before Fauna finished so I just finished watching her stream and saw her farm didn't work. If some of you are seriously considering trying to help her "fix it" keep a few things in mind because of you are alright and I'd hate to see you wasting a ton of time.

The server is managed by hololive. So who knows what plug ins they have going. This isn't something you'll be able to replicate so you will probably end up wasting a ton of time. I seem to recall Ina talking about trying to fix Gura's trident farm after one of the updates and couldn't get it fixed. It seems like sending stuff into the nether is an issue on their server.

If you plan on loading the EN seed, you will need to load it in version 1.17 of the game. If you load it in a later version, it won't be the same. You would also have to load all the chunks while in version 1.17 then roll the updates. Version 1.18 of the game significantly changed how land is generated. For example, in 1.17, you spawn in Tiaga/Plains, like you are used to seeing when they stream. Load the same seed in 1.18 or later and you'll spawn in a savanna and nothing will look familiar.

Lastly, if you are sending her suggestions for stuff to build, I'd recommend simple, but extremely useful farms like auto bamboo farms and sugar farms. The sugar farm is used to make paper, combine that with the creeper farm and unlimited fireworks. Bamboo can be used as fuel and to make scaffolding. They also seem to need some more automated food farms since they waste a lot of time looking for food during stream. As someone who likes playing minecraft, these things drive me nuts.

Sapling bros I have made a mistake.

I took some shrooms and looked at myself in the mirror which was a massive mistake. every single flaw and insecurity came flooding out and its like i cant look anywhere without being confronted by all the problems i have. I am filled with such incredible anxiety and i have no excape from it.

I tried watching the VOD from last nights minecraft stream to distract myself from everything but it just ended up filling me with more anxiety. Like jesus christ im only like 40 minutes in and it feels like she is constantly either forgetting something or feeling guilty about something or just close to dying or losing all her stuff.

Fuck even just watching her fills me with a kind of dread becuase the implications of using fauna to excape from all my problems and insecurities reveals a truth about me that i had been refusing to acknowledge. It feels like despite how horrifying it has been to take a hard look at myself I will just retreat back to the safety of the endless supply of distractions I have surrounded myself with and I am not sure if I should be okay with that anymore.

Alright just typing this up has been kinda taxing on me . so im going back to the VOD now because i cant handle all this introspection at once.
