You could tell Nade was a little down at the start. More frustrated than anything I think. She really perked up later on though once she got to talking, which was cute.

It sounded more like the merch is already in the works and she has already commissioned artist. Which means it is actually pretty well underway. Once she has the art and makes sure that everything is squared away with the artist it just comes down to her figuring out what she wants on what and how much she wants to release. It's actually pretty straight forward it just requires a lot of meetings. She also has a manager she can ask advice from.
