She didn't appear on Mumei's live stream today. At this point, unless the project Cover is working on for Gura is an entire movie, I believe Cover is intentionally keeping Gura out of the stream.
This may be because the managers themselves think that preventing Gura from appearing will cause her fans to switch to other Holo streams. This has both helped the HoloEn star grow and made Gura's viewers change their habits. The fact that Gura's viewers no longer like Gura and prioritize her will reduce Gura's influence in HoloEn and increase the influence of the other members. Cover probably doesn't want anyone to have too much influence over all the rest.
Different from JP side where there are a lot of members who can surpass 20k viewers even in normal streams. On the EN side only Gura can reach that level. And in case there are too many EN members going live at the same time, only Gura will be able to surpass 10K viewers. Different from the only mythical time when Gura's influence was like a beacon for the EN side. Now with both the council and Tempest, Gura's influence could have become something of an uneasiness in the hearts of Yagoo and Cover's managers. It wouldn't matter if there were other EN members with the same influence, but since there was no one else, Gura was still unique.
Maybe Cover thought it would be dangerous for Hololive to graduate Gura. I'm not saying Cover wants Gura to graduate but as a company they have to think about all the possibilities.
I hope I'm just thinking too much but if what I think is true then Cover is really stupid. There will be no such thing as Gura's viewers that will get bored of her or reduce their preference for her and give preference to other EN members' streams. There will only be bad, that is doubt.
I don't know about the JP side but I think people in EN don't like to be controlled. If Cover has a plan to manipulate the preferences of HoloEN's viewers, they should be ready to receive suspicion.
People watch vtuber to find hours of relaxation and fun with their oshi after stressful hours of studying or working, not looking for negative emotions. The moment that Cover makes people doubt, that will also be the time when everything comes to an end with HoloEN. At this point, I think a lot of Gura's regular viewers when watching other EN members' streams can't focus on what they're watching. Because no matter how they think to deceive themselves, deep in their minds there will be a nostalgia for Gura "Gura doko?". The suspicion for Cover will only grow stronger.
And everyone's patience is limited. Just look at the decline in viewership of HoloEN side streams and people will understand that anxiety and darkness are spreading throughout HoloEN. Except for Fauna where her kindness really does heal a bit of the viewer's mind so she may have healed a lot of people who missed Gura and Kaela as she was the closest person to have collaborated with Gura. , the rest of the EN and ID members all had a drop in viewership. The only thing that is slowly growing is "Gura doko?".
I really hope Cover doesn't have any crazy intentions to undermine Gura. But my doubts will be hard to diminish when Cover is ultimately just a company that thinks first of interests.
Everyone should use the tag #Gura_doko to show their vigilance. it will be better If people can turn it into a trending. There will be no bad effect on Hololive, it just increases people's attention towards Hololive. But if Cover has bad intentions towards Gura, it could be the ultimate lifeline for her career. Maybe it was too late, maybe Cover really weakened Gura's influence. But for those who still care and want to protect her, use "#Gura_doko". We need to point the trident at Cover's ass, so they know not to take the risk of harming our shark.
