I don't pretend to know where things are going in the future. I do think it's interesting how the present parallels another industry and era: 90's comic books. You have 2 huge companies with a rivalry and a thriving ecosystem of smaller companies, the biggest making a point of creator freedom and how talents own the IPs they create.
