Honestly, i just don't want Pekora to get cucked, yet again. But there is nothing that can be done about it. She lost 1 million, she lost her concert, she will lose 2m, not surprised if she'll lose stream time to Miko and who knows what else she's going to lose. She's streaming everyday for 30, 40, 50k people, she had 2 weeks preparation for her concert, but in the end it doesn't even matter. Most of this thread can't read numbers and just shitpost so you'll be fine.

Sub-wise, iLUMA is winning handily. Tempus is now around what iLUMA's subs were during their debuts. It's the advantage of having a much larger outreach.

CCV-wise, iLUMA has been a disappointment. The numbers for 3/6 of them are really ugly already and 2 are starting to fall too. Only Ren is pulling in decent numbers and even he has looked vulnerable the past 2 days.
Their ceiling is still higher than Tempus's, like Ren is going to get 20-30k for his karaokes and no one in Tempus can get those numbers.
On the other hand, it seems like Tempus is exceeding expectations, with Magni and Vesper being able to compete with Ren and Regis and Axel beating the rest of iLUMA.
The consistency in their numbers implies that they already have a solid fanbase that enjoy their content, regardless of the game.

Music-wise, it's not close. iLUMA is blowing Tempus out of the water. Kinda expected from how NijiEN music numbers do for debut-release songs.

tl;dr iLUMA fanbase is likely bigger, but much more casual and filled with tourists. Tempus's fanbase is smaller, but very dedicated and actually show up to streams.

I've seen this come up a lot recently with Iluna/Tempus, the question of:

I decided to compile 1.5 months of Kuzuha streams to see which was true, seems theres no real correlation between stream time and VOD views. For those who don't know, an R^2 value represents correlation between two values (basically). So the closer the R^2 value is to 1, the more correlated it is. Generally, you can say that something with a 0.85 R^2 value has moderate correlation with the values. The R^2 value shown with the sample (31) of Kuzuha streams gave 0.49 with extremely long streams, and with the outliers taken out, a measley 0.002 R^2 (See reply post). So at least with KING's streams, it doesn't matter at all how long/short the streams are. They don't influence VOD views. This comes from Tempus fans saying that short videos will give less views (because less watch time = less views), and Iluna fans saying long videos will cause less views (because less people watching the entire video = less views).

I think Kuzuha isn't the best example because he is like Pekora/Gura/Kobo in the sense that all his VODs do well and his CCV is solid.

Just from eye test, one hour streams do worse if there's no VOD growth, and in Tempus's case, there's very little growth after the streams end. With a 5-6 hr stream, you can drag yourself to 100k with just a 6k CCV.
There's way too many factors at play to draw a conclusion either way tho, like the youtube algorithm can make something explode.

Like everyone here was making fun of this Salome Google Play stream that peaked at only 16k and fell soon afterwards, but it has 402k VOD views in 2 days, which is fucking insane for a 1.5 hr stream that peaked at 16k.

The problem with Gatekeeping is twofold.
1. Fans reflect the streamers.
2. Fans have no way to Gatekeep what streamers get into the company.
A fanbase that wants to gatekeep will lose out if the hobby heads do not want to.
This also usually results in Exodus of old fans (happened to NijiJP and to a lesser extent NijiEN) and replacing them with normalfags who have zero stake in the hobby and are simple locusts moving towards the next medium of entertainment to "consume".
