A few things are clear now

You probably won't be the peak, but even Regice will probably end up with a 1k floor. The fujo audience is still the path to the top but that is very much a case of they choose. Niji can get you greater heights but risks a lower floor.

They're clearly going for sub count above all else, including current video views. That is an easy quick way but they are missing out on the best. Many Nijis really believe Noir was going to be in the new wave and really he would fit. This is possibly a mix of becoming the fujo brand and not really helping talent do the more creative ideas they have.

I like Aia, Scarle and Kyo. I can't really ask for much more than that. No scouting department is great, people just need to watch more streams instead of just skimming debuts and reading threads. Once people actually watched streams they did a 180 on the blue fag from Tempus, that's the power of actually watching vtubers.

And what's the alternative exactly? Hololive doesn't have space for everyone and even their scouting is spotty. You can stay indie but good luck grinding to even reach 3 view level.

The NijiEN girls are inclining, but not that hard. HoloEN girls are reclining, but mostly it is because of their poor habits. They have no Kaela-type streamers among them who grind regardless of the numbers.

I don't really agree that female Niji isn't viable, however I think as the branch fills up it becomes a harder sell in general male or female. A lot of Iluna are already dipping fairly hard, with so much choice in vtubing and then so much choice in the company you have to stand out quick. "We want the Vox audience" is the only notable success. The other guys doing poor is more of a concern as it means a male niji isn't a guaranteed comfy gig.

Niji EN is a little too defined by Lux's success, be that or latch onto them to do well. You're guaranteed to be dragged out of indie hell so it isn't a bad choice right now. But I do think they need to look at JP and see how unique pockets of talents were created.

Niji incline is a nice meme but just doesn't really pan out. You guys see one stream do a little better once and start freaking out. Or start using metrics like hours watched. Lux are what carry any sort of branch incline and any boost is very dependent on if a man will show up. But the girls being 1-3k on normal streams has been the case since last year.

Not really, there is an anon in /#/ that tallies their average view count and most of the members are inclining. The likes of Pomu and Enna skyrocketed to 3-4k. a flat 2k stream is already considered "bad" for them because of how much they inclined. The talent scout issue, I agree. Seems like they got blinded by the sub count and thought that they would be able to attract a different niche.

Yes really, even ignoring that we have seen Zs fuck up peaks so often. Nijis also raid way more but those viewers dissipate very quickly, usually cause some karaoke stream was dumped on a superchat reading. You guys will point to shit like this without context and declare OMG POMU INCLINE JUST LOOK AT THE PEAK.

A 2k stream or under is still not uncommon for them. Hey you know what gets Pomu 4k without raids? Collabs or games like MC with a high chance of drop ins. At very best her MGS series was a bit of a hit. But we also see that not transfer to other series.
