I think alumni/guest visits would probably be the best way to go if she decided to make a return.

IRySana moments were kino because they're both chatty girls, now IRyS is the only chatter in a branch full of wallflowers and LOUD women. The simple fact is, there's no real reason for the company to reject an alumni who has decided they want to return. Maybe if there was some massive drama; but apart from that, there's every reason to sign a new contract.

All of the up-front costs have already been paid, so they could probably get back to work within a few days. They also don't need any training or reintroduction. If anything, rejecting them runs a very real risk of pissing off the other talents.

I'd say there's a decent chance she might come back eventually. I got the impression that she didn't actually want to leave, but that she was doing so for personal reasons. It's possible she feels bad about her threadbare streaming record, or that it's a matter of personal health, or both.

Some people have said it may be due to difficulty balancing both of her careers. That I don't believe at all: she's a freelance artist, and she controls her own schedule as part of Hololive; finding a balance between these things wouldn't even require effort, it would happen entirely naturally. Now, maybe graduating is that and she wants to cut out streaming entirely to do more art... but that seems at-odds with her behavior. She seemed to enjoy herself, and if she wanted to spend more time on art, why the aversion towards art streams? It could be purely financial, but she's clearly not a workaholic, so that also seems like a shit explanation.
