It's how similar their kayfabe are to their chuuba counterpart. Stuff like Nene being too stupid to realize that wrestling isn't real, Mori being badass but failing to deliver, Luna, Noel and Marine's entire moveset, and Haachama being an absolute menace. It feels like I'm watching actual chuubas fight instead of dumb CAWs modelled after them.

HFZ is a lot of ingame kino with the chat's reaction to stuff and 2k20/22's jank being the main selling point.
CoC is has a lot heavier reliance on storylines and lore. It also has the benefit of a flexible roster. It still does have kino ingame moments but it uses angles a lot more.
Dark is like a nice in-between of HFZ and CoC.

Adding to this: HFZ has the biggest audience and has OP's dynamic with the chat with her acting almost like an actual character in the kayfabe is great. Dark and CoC do it to some degree, but I feel like they mostly don't "participate" in the show themselves. An issue I feel Dark had in the early parts were that fanbases don't have as many angles to work with outside of things that could be represented in HFZ. This is where the bigger cards + bonus and bonis come in because the more you have matches, the more you have opportunity to get in-game jank or build storylines. Compare this to CoC where you have a roster that really doesn't interact much with each other (the actual chuubas) and not as many streams like bonus bonis. It pretty much requires the show to have its own lore.

Modding takes time, and WWE 2k games are notoriously piles of shit that don't like it when you play the game itself, let alone mod it. Don't forget that you also still have to actually make the wrestlers, even if you have modtools, and the modtools basically mean you have to make the wrestlers twice.
That's not to say you shouldn't try, but just know that you're diving into a rabbit hole inside a rabbit hole inside a rabbit hole.

Citrusglazed has Hololive WWE, but as females. They don't really have much in the way of plot, more or less booking matches based on stream happenings, and females are inherently limited in the 2K games, so it falls a bit flat.
HoloShooto was still in its early stages and hadn't yet carved out a proper narrative for itself, but FirePro lends itself well to a wide variety of match types, so if somebody were looking to make themselves distinct in match quality, I would look there.
Then, of course, you have HoloFighter and MythNight, Miko and Gura's WWE programs respectively. Miko just sorta throws together whatever she likes, but Gura seemed to actually have some sort of internal narrative in mind when setting up matches.

2K22 is finicky by itself and putting mods on top of that, well, just know what you're getting into. I recommend trying to fully create about four characters first (outfit, customized moveset, entrance, behavior, etc) and see if you can see yourself doing hours upon hours of this. And save your work frequently. 2K22 is less crash-happy than 2K20 but it still happens. And be prepared for some updates to mess with your characters sometimes.

The biggest issue I see is that HFZ has been designated as *the* /vt/ Hololive wrestling thing. If someone wants to do another Hololive wrestling they'd have to make it unique in some way. Citrusglazed has female models, but you'll see that it's not really watched because of the inherent disadvantages of females in the 2k games and personally I look at the recreations of holos and I see someone who is very "safe" in trying to portray the holos in their fed. Trying to make them look pretty and attractive I think defeats the purpose of putting them in a wrestling game, the premise is already crazy and ridiculous so seeing male abominations dressed as holos adds to the ridiculousness of the concept. 2k22 just isn't a good enough game to try and make pretty models entertaining.

FirePro has a lot more going for it in customization and modding because it's actually coded well, so that's really the only game that I think someone could make a great Hololive wrestling show out of. If someone can nail down match types and unique moves that give personality to the characters, as well as a good match length because HoloShooto felt a little too fast when it was streaming, that'd be a solid contender.

desu I think there's also some potential in someone making a dramanigger fed. HFZ approaches some controversy and drama but it's always in a diluted form. Since it's been mentioned here that HFZ doesn't really have angles and storylines, that's one way someone can make their Hololive fed different: make it so that it leans heavily towards the rrats and schizo drama shit. Matsuri's menhera conflicts with the other members, the Kiara-faction rrats, Niji-Holo wars, graduation drama, surely they have a market.

When HFZ was weekly, it could borrow more from recent rrats. With an inconsistent schedule that leans towards monthly, it has to pull back and rely on longer-term commentary or its own internal narratives.
Dark and CoC have both dipped a bit into dramafaggotry, but CoC Season 1 was more about the Anon/Riku conflict than anything else, and Dark has more or less grown beyond basic drama conflicts as core plot drivers and a large chunk of its cast CAN'T have active drama for obvious reasons.

I think that's a good formula to go with: you can have dramafagging, but it should ultimately be something you poke around with for filler/side matches. Main events and core plot (if you have any) should be self-driven. This way, you're not forced to derail if something crazy happens, like when Unicornio fought Fandead as a work, but before anything can come of that, the IRL Rushia ends up getting terminated due to the scenario that spawned the work in the first place.
Basically, a drama fed should focus on getting catharsis and closure through the fights, which can't be done while the drama is too fresh.

Another issue i can see probably is that whoever makes another Hololive fed, he's gonna carry that "HFZ ripoff" stigma with him. I mean, this very thread already has DARK antis due to its appearances on HFZ promos which somehow triggers the purists (imagine HFZ having unicorns kek) on the question of uniqueness, IMO you really don't have to go that far. making a proper Miko, IRyS or Kiara male CAW makes it one already, but it's up to the organizer really if he wants to do some gimmicks to make it entertaining too, and not just be a Citrusglaze, but males. i'm not really very familiar with firepro, so i can't comment on that. whoever's going to make a dramafag fed should have balls of steel because that fed is certainly a yab magnet and might attract schizos, like what happened to a japanese clipper that clipped the Aqua vs. Kuzuha match in APEX

CAWs take a lot more work than people seem to realize. Miko spends like an hour or two each, and that's just with cosmetics. Getting into movesets and other details like titantrons and signs takes even more time. All for a single wrestler.
I think that edited titantrons would be neat, and I'd love to see a Niji fed (especially since Selen never did another WWE stream), but I also don't want people to get the idea that making a fed is easy or quick, and I'd rather not see another fed go 2 episodes then quit.
The easiest way to see if you're willing to go the distance would be to just make a couple of people for a Stream 0. If you think you can do that 50+ more times for an assortment of Nijis AND edit in titantrons for them all, then you know you're ready to go. If making basic versions of 2~4 chuubas as CAWs is already wearing you down, then there's no real point in adding more work to yourself.

The only real way to create that is to make 14 different lines crisscrossing each other. Good luck with that cause 2k have a habit of just ignoring some of the designs if you have too much of it.

There are a total of 20 face templates so you need to give extra care to it unless you want your wrestlers to all have the same faces.
>Misc.
After that, stuff like body types is all up to you, just make sure to have a good ratio of fat fuckers, giants, and manlets. Also, please no ‘’From New York, The Superstar’’.
>The crashing
Make sure to exit out for saves often enough cause you don’t want to lose hours of progress just like that.

2. Moveset
The most important of building a CaWs, is there are a total of 200+ individual moves you could hand-pick for your wrestlers. But no worry, no one expects you to be that autistic and plus, there are over a hundred existing Superstars moveset you could copy from. But that doesn’t mean you can just copy willy—nilly tho, it would be kinda weird to have a manlet doing Big Show type moves. Well, thank God 2k22 create a system where you can just pick a class for a character and they will have various moveset from it, but having a fed of 100 wrestlers where 20 of them all doing the same DDT or Suplex is just as worse as not giving them anything. Pay the most attention to the wrestlers’ Sig/Finishers, cause most likely, that will be the last thing they do each match, and in turn, the last thing people remember bout them.

3. Entrances
These are quite easy now cause of the limitation that 2k22 has in entrance creation. If Miko can do it, so can you.

4. >Lore
I literally don’t care, having lore should not be your first, second, or third concern in creating a fed. Just stream, like just fucking stream.

idk if you're the niji guy but i'd definitely not recommend holding out for super long to try and do a big start, getting used to streaming and seeing reception is important
plus theres the factor of stream inexperience, if you've never done it before theres a lot of learning to do in terms of setting up, testing different settings, making sure your not streaming your fucking desktop like a retard, etc.

and finally there's the factor of game stuff. obviously making sure you know all the little tricks of CAW making and such is nice, but actually learning how to book matches is good to have, and waiting until you have a big roster might be overwhelming. also messing with the gameplay settings and making sure everything looks presentable.

but finally its just fun to develop your craft with an audience, and an important part to wanting to continue breaking your balls making autistic 2k CAWs for 50 more hours for the next stream
