Has just become the first Niji in a long time if ever to breach the top 10 most subscrbed vtubers. The impressive thing is that her growth is far out pacing anyone else in the top 10 she will jump Suisei this week securing her spot in the top 10. After that it is a pure grind to beat Aqua and Ame who don't stream anyway.

>Kobo
Is still moving at incredible speeds and is about to Jump Kson to enter the top 25. After that it is a mad dash as she will be chasing down Niji Royalty in Kuzuha.

Both are doing very impressive things Salome is oroving the JP market isn't tapped out yet and Kobo is proving not only is ID a viable market but other foreign markets might see potential growth if they are opened properly.

As for Kobo vs Salome... Kobo still has to beat Kiryuu Coco and Uruhara Rushia. Also Salome's growth isn't dying off like people would have you believe it has definitely slowed but Kobo's growth is also slowing down a bit. Now if Kobo can keep her sub growth going she might catch up to Salome by the end of August/beginning of September...

Unless she activated even more power then we might see her start slaying top 5 Holos who are WELL entrenched. Fun stuff regardless.

You were laughing six months ago at the notion that an ID vtubers would get 10k without the help of EN fandom, and now you're laughing at the idea of an ID vtubers can't get 40k?
If she can do that, will you moving your goalpost again?
A reminder that Kobo is just the beginning, there could be someone bigger than her in ID scene or even Kobo herself who can reach that number, maybe in a year, two years, or five years in the future. For all that Kobo can achieve, ID is still an underdeveloped market.
