Because if you want to be really specific, the division goes like pic related:
It's a remnant of the initial zoning autism and the last-minute changes to where the continents really are. You can see that the Neutral Continent is present, but it's essentially half of a larger land formation with Nijicontinent. It could be separated out for clarity/tradition I suppose, making five continents like this.

Ok we have finally arrived at Kirby Village. It did not exactly look like a village but there are a few places that look really nice. These things are called "escape pods" and they are made to come down from the sky. Sounds cool even if I don't fully understand how it works.
At least the accommodations were acceptable. They even had places where they make bread and a pool for swimming. It all looked really fancy.

The morning we noticed he was missing we all panicked. Immediately we began to ask questions about his disappearance to each other before asking the sanalites. We found him in a weird room and he definitely did not just walk in there. His hands were tied up and there was...food all around. It was probably the most shocking thing I had ever seen in my life.
Had it not been for the fact that apparently they were ordered to abandon this grand directive before Gading was killed then I would have ordered our immediate retreat and possibly staged an uprising. However with the bribe of some very beautiful peridot I instead ordered my group to never wander in groups of less than 3 and scream at the sign of any trouble. We were all extremely cautious of our hosts after that one and even took turns on night watch.
Fortunately for us, things did not seem to escalate. In fact it seems like everyone just forgot it happened or at least that's how I saw it. Still my entire crew were nervous for their very lives and determined that since they were about to leave anyway that we would depart back to /uuu/ and meet up with Hamdani once they departed.

Hey the Luknights are here. Who would have thought that they would have shown up all the way from the candy kingdom. Well to be fair our homeland is extremely far away but I thought that we were the only ones crazy enough for such a thing. Not that I am complaining or anything because this was one heck of a festival. There was so much food to eat and stuff to drink and dancing. Sadly no places for sex so we often had to excuse ourselves and the luknights didn't seem interested.
Overall I consider this mission so far to be a success. We got some of this shiny peridot, and I learned so much about the cool things that the other nations do that don't rely on the power of magic.

I thought about a bread dog story where he bakes a cake for a king, but the king rejects the cake out of suspicion of poison. And instead of trashing the cake bread dog gives the cake to peasants to prove its not. The peasants thank the king for allowing them to eat a cake made for kings even if they were to die. The peasants don't die. So the king wants a better cake than the peasants ate.

Its a stupid story. But I think it'd be fun to try writing. King could be replaced with queen.

Just spent the whole day teaching myself Houdini to make satellite image-tier topographical maps. Still got a long way to go (obviously), but this is pretty fun. Texturing is annoying though, might be better off exporting the model into substance painter and texturing there.
Also, Mont Mori is like 40 kilometers tall on here, this map is on non-canon kek.

Yeah, I think a couple more iterations and this'll look pretty nice. I want to figure out how to make the chain of mountains look more natural, and also break up that bevel on the coast some more, I think some hand-painted masks can do the job. Also make rivers thinner and more distinct, if I can. And obviously downsize Mont Mori so it's noticeable without being humongous.
Making some /meat/ztec pyramids would be fun! I wouldn't use Houdini for that, just model them right in Blender. Houdini is handy to make all the procedural erosion stuff happen. Maybe that can go on my ever growing pile of future /vtwbg/ projects.

Those programs are pretty great, bit harder to pick up but more capable than Blender for a long while. Imo Blender pretty much at feature parity with Maya these days, but Zbrush still has advantages for sculpting workflows. I think you could pick up Blender pretty quick if you can handle those other two.

I used Houdini heightfields and an image of /morig/ island, painted a mask for it with the main mountains of the island, and then ran erosion algorithms on the Heightfield to generate rivers and slopes from the starting geometry. It's a bit sloppy, but I spent most of my time learning the program, I think I could do this pretty quick now. Houdini is not the most user friendly program though.

That’s correct, sort of. So the way it’s structured as of now, there’s a center dome that’s the capital. Surrounding that dome is a layer of domes, with a sort of smaller layer around that, and a smaller layer around that, and so on. The older domes are very elaborate, very beautifully gothic in nature. The younger ones are more robust and simple, as they have had less time to be refined and such. The farthest domes are kind of like the slums.

So fun fact, the site used to generate the map https://azgaar.github.io/Fantasy-Map-Generator/ does allow you to mouse over the heightmap and tells you the elevation. From what I can tell, the green areas go up to 1000 ft, the yellow to 5000, and the orange to 10000, with anything above being ice. We don't necessarily have to follow this metric, but hopefully that helps you out.
