Stars were never promoted to JP viewers like StarsEN were. They got promoted by a lot of the mainline EN talent, lots of influencers online, and then there was a watchalong on the official HoloEN channel with Bae, Ollie, and A-Chan. Omega really wanted to make this happen. They should be compared to NijiEN. They flopped. They might eventually find a market, but certainly not on their debut.
