See this is kinda what I was getting at with my thoughts in last thread. The whole graduation thing feels so arbitrarily harsh for a case like Sana's where the company didn't actually have to fire her She's already operating as a sort of contractor with them, so I'm surprised there wasn't some version of exit contract that allowed her to do some stuff after July, at least for the remainder of the year.

Would it really be so bad for Sana to still do a Twitter space with someone that was too sick to talk beforehand? It's not like giving her Twitter access is costing them anything.
And the same for birthday call-ins and stuff. If Sana would still be happy to voluntarily voice her character from time to time to make someone's day, I think she should be able to. There's no overhead on Cover's part, they already know what equipment she has, she doesn't need the model, and business-wise it just collectively boosts the brand. As long as Sana is "around" they can more easily market with the character.

I just can't imagine Sana choosing against this option if it was offered to her with no other strings, so I gotta believe the only realistic choice they gave her was full graduation.

Ves definitely has a similar vibe, but if I watch him more I wouldn't consider it "moving on" for me personally.
I'm also not quite as sold on the lads as a group yet. A couple of them feel like they're leaning really heavily on their archetype at times, even more than Bae initially did. Sana was always a disarming personality from day 1 so that along with Mumei being ultra weird kept things pretty loose. Like when Bae was reviewing their trailer during first Council collab and Sana out of the blue brings up Cheeto dust.

Coco was given the option publicly but with all the drama behind her graduation everyone knew she was never coming back, so it's hard to say if that was genuine. Sana will probably get the same treatment but we won't know if it's real until someone does it.

Decided to finally buy the whole birthday merch pack today 8 hours before it closed in Japan time. Back in June, I was watching a 2view and she disappeared off her streams around when crypto started to crash. Started watching Sana's Kirby64 vods just to ease myself into watching holoen. Really got into her cheerfulness and started watching more often, then suddenly we got the graduation announcement.
