I think it's more because in Hololive she had a sort of uniqueness to her, being the crass foreigner trying to "corrupt" this group of Japanese idols. Yeah, Marine and Matsuri are a thing but Marine is more horny than crass while Matsuri didn't have that foreigner spiciness to her. Also, early Coco to me was legit more creative and hardworking than current Kson. Preparing asacoco everyday with corresponding skits is nothing to scoff at. That's just what Hololive does, with management choosing what to put forward/how to present and carry yourself for PR, these girls can be polished up to come across/seem better than they really are.

That's kind of the fascinating thing about it really, it actually morphs you into a more idealized entertainer over time, but it's wasted on her really. Same with Mori. Mori has moments of seeming to crack a bit and not be a selfish rebel but it's pretty rare, and it wouldn't be hard to imagine just how much of a routine, uninteresting shit she'd be without Holo.
