In this context, noting that there's "few" errors indicates that I expected more. It's a compliment. I think you said you had little writing experience, so I expected something which would be a challenge to read. This was not the case.

As for the inclusion of "one-timers", though, remember the more characters you include, the more time you need to spend fleshing them out or risk having them come across as improperly portrayed and one-note at best, and outright distracting or confusing the reader as to the overarching story at worst. Fleshing them out means more work on your part, so if you're keen on making this a longer series, then by all means - but if not, then consider trimming the fat before you write yourself into a wall and regret it.

Thanks! I had more focus on Iofi's reluctance to go and embarrassment vs obedience in my head intially. But at some point the idea of another pet owner being the main obstacle of the walk and catalyst for a successful bonding moment came to me, and I rolled with it. Yeah it's really easy to get into the trap of trying to get it perfect first try and just stalling out rewriting a paragraph trying to get it right. This can absolutely sap your motivation since it will stall your progress in actually writing up the fic while effectively locking you from doing editing in the future since you spent too much time doing 'low level' grammar and flow editing that's 'locked in' instead of 'high level' editing of where the story is going.

my grammar is far from perfect, but remembering back to lit. classes over 20 years ago, you should start a new line whenever someone different is talking each bit of dialogue. though you can continue on the same line if they are talking again after some narration.

I was returning back home after a long day at the university, working hard to ensure I got the best grades to make Botan proud of me. Need to finish my current story before even thinking about this, but whatever here's a pitch:
Bae is hopelessly in love with Roberu, who is hopelessly unaware of her crush. One day, after their collab, a Cover executive stumbles into the room where Bae is furiously shlicking to Roberu. Bae must keep her secret because of both workplace romance policy as well as idol romance policy, violating either of which could leave her ostracized, terminated, or worst of all, ruin her current relationship with Roberu. The exec offers to help her keep this secret -- for a price, of course.
