that anon is probably the KOF one from before, and although KOF may seem intimidating at first because muh inputs, outside of Ángel you could learn the universal systems of the game and then play whatever character. KOF 98 is up on steam for 15 bucks, it has rollback and is a good ass game, give it a try. Otherwise you could play gorilla games like GG Strive or DNF Duel, they have (mostly) simple characters movesets, and "predicting" opponents is also present in platform fighters, so you're already halfway there!
You could also just play whatever in Fightcade lol, but beware the 300 year old brazilian wifi warrior that has played all day every day since 1880

1. I think they can work if the chuuba already plays into their kayfabe.
2. Bit of both. I watch my oshi and some other favorites no matter what, but others I'll watch depending on the game.
3. What do you consider smaller? Most of the chuubas I watch these days have gotten kind of big.
4. Personality, voice, design, game test/content, in that order
5. What in particular do you want to know? The only relevant thing I can think of right now is that /wvt/ isn't quite what it used to be since you left.

Skits are always fun it's nice seeing vtubers think would be entertaining and how they pull them off?

Game choice is the biggest thing for me since often times my niche tastes means not many are into it so seeing ones that are is always a treat. What keeps me around is consistency of the game I enjoy or if they're just rather pleasant people and I can vibe with them in chat.

Love them to bits! They're great to showcase your creativity and humor outside of the stream. Sometimes I prefer them over regular streams since getting a bite sized sample of vtubers is all I can get these days.

Usually for the latter. It's fine if a streamer isn't entirely consistent, people have other obligations and can't be expected to keep up with everything.

The personality should be the main focus on the vtuber's stream, after that the model design, then the voice. If all three of those traits happen to synchronize well then you've got yourself a new viewer.

1) Take them or leave them. They can be funny but they often feel very forgettable or a vtuber puts out a handful then never does them again.

3) I've linked her today already but I really like this Brit chuuba for some reason. Very cute laugh and the tomboyish model certainly isn't hurting.

I used to like vtubers on the novelty of vtubers with slight variations in style alone but I really enjoy supporting ones with a solid sense of humor that I get the feeling are bound for bigger numbers. Sort of groomery but following 2views into 30, 60 and 100 is really satisfying when you call it beforehand.

1. I think it works better as either a short start-of-stream thing or as separate content on twitter/youtube. longer lore-focused things can work if they're the direct focus of a stream but if you're just doing "playing RPG part 7" and I open the stream to see XYZ event happening, it can kind of give that TGWTG vibe.
2. I guess it depends, some streamers I only really check out if they're doing something that catches my eye but others I'd watch do damn near anything. But either way I'd rather watch someone do something they are obsessive about more than anything else. Just for example seeing Eira go wild during a Tokiemki stream is always enjoyable even if I couldn't possibly care less about those games personally.
3. She kinda speedran the whole "vtuber" thing but there was this one named Xia Xenos I liked a lot. Great singer, here's a song she sang at her graduation. Actually got me a bit more emotional than I expected considering how shortly she streamed:

4. As superficial as it is, a good model or an interesting game choice can be all it takes sometimes to get me to check someone out. Or I could just be bored and nobody I usually watch is on. or on at least one occasion it could just be a kind DM from them out of the blue Anything, really. What keeps me around is how much I enjoyed the stream I put on by chance, but that comes down to personal taste so it's hard to say "do this, don't do that" as far as how to keep someone around.
5. It's hard to really say what all you've missed, if only because, well, I didn't miss it and it's hard to quantify what's big or small news over time like that. I guess you'll pick up anything important over time just by getting back in the groove.

I don't have a question for you, I just wanted to reiterate how nice it is to have you back. This community and these threads really genuinely are brighter with you around.

I don't like that but like I said I worked as an Armorer in the Air Force so we cleaned weapons every month and after every weapons qualification. I'm thinking of doing weapons cleaning streams once a month now since its something different I can other than play games. Not that anon but for me, a good skit is short and well timed. Too many skits linger and fluff themselves up and it ruins the punchline. It also needs to line up with their normal humor. Could you guys recommend me a guide on making vtuber clips?
Both the technical part of clipping and editing but also I guess
the culture or meta of it. I want to make some content for someone
I think is funny and unrepresented, but I don't want it to come

own content (unrelated) my videos are very polarizing with people
