I really like some of the songs. My favorites are Mera Mera and Make em Afraid. A slightly seductive earworm and a badass shanty by our Empress.
The others are good, my least favorite is Kamouflage but I don't dislike it. It's just not for me...which brings me to the main point: going forward, what direction do I want to see Mori's music go. With her flexing her vocals in a controlled range (not going to unnatural highs or lows to where it sounds odd, I don't understand how some said she didn't utilize what she's learned.) I definitely want some rock songs. The drumming bit in Make em Afraid solidified the "death march" feel, but it also reminded me of Black Parade. Which we all know she likes. Give me some guitars and drums, with her heavy vocals and some rap, and it will be gold.

UnAlive was an interesting concept of trying different things and Shinigami Note was more streamlined but still entirely her own style. If there's one thing to avoid on the next project then it's another own-the-haters track.. She's done it before and she's done it better. Let it rest.
Also avoiding songs with her vocals being mixed/drowned into the track. This was how I felt about Let's End The World, I kind of had higher hopes for that one but it's only been one listen.
As always, Mori only makes me feel good things. I'm so proud of this reaper.

I agree that she should avoid another own the haters song. I would like to see more topics in her songs. Scuffed up Age is a good example of a fresh topic. Mera Mera despite being simple was also kind of fresh having a more “sexy” vibe to it. I think she shouldn’t focus on appealing to the mainstream.
