She does it regularly. May as make a post about her.

Flare is bad for divs as her value is guaranteed low because you can almost 100% predict her values. If she fluctuates up she'll end up with 350-400 on her divs which is avg value. Her views for the day will be either 150k - 200k with likely only 1k subs. Flare is probably the most stablecoin in this game. She is on a very stable slow climb upwards but her daily views and subs will largely be the same values every time in a pattern of one weak day and then one average day with an occasional better day in a row or two.

Flare is pretty much a literally who? in terms of popularity. She has a very dedicated fanbase who will guaranteed will show up on time to give her almost the same views. Compromise is that while she does actively get daily 1k subs, she doesn't really retain any actual new viewers. She might gain spikes based on the game she's playing or the collab she is doing, but otherwise her values are pretty predictable. You can normally guess the days value with high accuracy based on looking at her previous day numbers and what she is going to stream that day.

There is a good reason she actively shows up in the top wallets. She's a strong stable coin throughout the day and the gains you make from her are stable so you know its guaranteed profit or something you can drop with little loss if you dump it near adjustment.

Fubuki didn't get that, she's still missing all those views. We expected her to jump to the moon as a result during the adjustment a couple days ago but she barely moved which suggests losing views isn't that significant, but idk. It's possible the dividend algorithm is different and will judge her harshly.

The nice thing about $HOLO is you can pile it up and just keep it til Monday or Tuesday, you lose a bit of opportunity cost but you get the Hologra bump and you don't have to mess around selling them. It really is the nasfaq treasury bond.

Funny thing is, he probably gave up, he said multiple times he would. But if he wanted he could've destroyed the market by having something like 60% of his coins being Civia and 40% being for investments (to buy more Civias).
Each Civia bought right now can give him something like $600-800. Now imagine if the supposed Ciyana merge happened, he'd have 200 coins for an active chubba.
It is a very nice strategy but I think it is not working properly yet as it becomes progressively better as more people play the game.

I don't know whether if the Devs accounted for other hololive members jumping ship to other companies. Would the devs ever consider adding a whole new coin if something like this were to occur? Would HaachamaCoin still be in circulation if there was a confirmed graduation? This is rrat territory I know but I can't help but think that these outside events could negatively affect the game.

They have other things to focus on at present but adding or removing coins should be very straightforward technical-wise. As for the effects on the game, I don't think it could be that bad. If the main focus is still Holochuubas, then smaller coins could exist without impacting the global market too much.

To be fair I just sold mine because no matter how much it pays this week, it's so highly valued that getting three a tier dividend coins with the proceeds will earn me more judging by historic payments.

Coco is currently worth $2837 and given that her stream has more views than Kanata's concert she'll probably rise to $4500 or so. Coco's dividend will also be worth $500-550. That's a $2200 profit in total.

If you buy Gura for $3152 and we assume she gets $1k again this week(she won't) that's still only a $1000 profit since Gura never rises from adjustments. The same can be said for Pekora or Marine or Hololive since none of them ever gain much from adjustments.

Even if Coco has a pretty mediocre adjustment and only rises to $3500 or so she's still worth more than any of the big dividend coins at least assuming you can sell before she drops.

The only way I see this being salvaged is by allowing players to submit a buy/sell price in every cycle.
Let's say I want to buy Korone who is currently at 2500. I think she's going down, so I place a buy order for 2300. If she reaches 2300 at any point during the cycle, I buy 1 Korone for 2300. If she doesn't reach 2300, I don't buy a Korone that cycle and have $2300 in my bank and 0 Korone.
But let's say I buy Korone for 2300, and now I think she's going to at least 2700. So I place a 2700 sell order for Korone, and before adjustment the buy price for Korone hits 2750. I sell 1 Korone for 2700, and the cycle adjusts to 2750. If she only reaches 2650, I don't sell any Korone that cycle.
Also Buy/Sell orders should ideally carry over between cycles so I will attempt to automated buy a Korone at 2300 all day until I buy one and attempt to sell all day at 2700 until I sell one, but that's probably asking way too much.

I think the bottom line of the issue was Honk and dev-chama were trying to prevent another Nene situation were: A coin jumps up in value extremely fucking high and because so many shares are in rotation, sells didn't effect her stock very much, meaning everybody gets money
The problem is they overcorrected far to fucking hard, meaning sells dropped Coco stock $3k in one fucking cycle meaning nobody made any money
I think they meant well but like I said they went in one direction far too hard and now the current system means a holo's channel performance far less important
I'd unironically suggest a reset or at least some type of stimulus because everyone outside of the top 10 got their networths completely fucked especially if you invested in Coco, there's simply no way you've could've predicted that type of unprecedented volatile movement

Hi again. The general sentiment about this update is NOT VERY GOOD as you are probably aware. The main purpose was to bring back the queue but reduce the effectiveness of day trading and pump and dump schemes, which were rampant issues when the site first launched. Clearly our numbers were way off to start, leading people to believe that daily adjustments are no longer a viable trading strategy upon seeing the extreme volatility of the broker cycles. However this is not the case, was never intended to be the case, and we will ensure it will not be the case going forward. We are currently working on several small updates to bring the game back to where it should be.
To answer a few questions:

This is a made up figure by some random anons. Pay no attention. This figure isn't static for all stocks, the magnitude of the adjustments is dynamic. We will ensure that trading on adjustments is a viable strategy for gaining capital however, regardless of its magnitude.

Inflation was an issue but you could've come up with another method to control the economy thats tied to Holo performance instead to encourage supporting them.

I liked the idea of having finite shares tied to sub count for example.

Also adjustments should be relative to the entire market and not just that individual holo. For example there's no way Coco should be worth more than Gura even when she overperforms. If you reigned in the adjustments to be less massive it wouldn't have gotten so out of control with Nene being worth twice as much as Gura.

Dividends should also be spread out throughout the week as a daily login bonus sorta deal instead of once a week. This encourages players to be more active and strategic in holding things long-term instead of just buying Gura on friday and selling her on saturday.

Have you put any thought into having more adjustment cycles per day to make it more gradual? The fact adjustment only happens once per day is pretty inconvenient for everyone and also means HoloEN streams don't get counted until the next day sometimes due to Youtube's API being slow to log their view count. It'd make for a more interesting meta if updates happened 4 times a day but didn't have the massive spikes we're used to. For example if Coco only went up $400 per update people would be way less upset over losing money due to their high expectations.

LSTM stands for Long Short Term Memory. The idea is that you use whole batches of correlated data as input. This allow for a certain degree of prediction. Keep in mind that I'm absolutely new to this, I only have a little experience in the mathematics behind from the beginning of my degree.
My first model was from a simple ARIMA regression, I got the formula for each holo and since the adjustment only happens once a day, I just had to train the damn thing every day OR normalize the adjustment. Truth be told, I never actually used it since my main problem comes from scrapping the data and I only managed to into websockets 2 days ago. Before that I used the API but it gave weird numbers when recreating the queue from the history, probably due to immediate sell <-> buy transactions. The model was linear in the following parameters:

I have a problem with more than single adjustment cycles since it means you have to put more attention in the game. The idea is good but the problem with it is increasing the amount of attention the game needs. It doesn't matter for people with little money but once you have more liquid it becomes a pretty big issue considering you are restricted to a single trade at a time. You really really really need to improve the way the new econ works visually and the timing as well. It simply can't function in the current system of cycles happening every 15 minutes. If you want timing to matter then it has to be instantaneous and there needs to be immediate feedback on price shifts as you're looking at the buy/sell button, not in the queue tab.

The idea of having to carefully watch the screen for price shifts instead of watching your holos seems quite dumb as well. You can keep the volatility but just make cycles update every 5 minutes instead and keep the price for that cycle +/- $20 or something so you aren't totally blindsided by price shifts.

An easy fix you can do right now is add a little guruguru and gray out/disable the button after it was pressed and before the client got an answer from the server, remove the guruguru if the pending is confirmed, and reenable the button if timeout. Honestly the primary issue is that the server isn't really geared for the instantaneous price shifts, if things aren't queued your transaction may happen at the same time as another transaction and they may both be affecting the price at the same time. It's the age old problem of how to sort out that shit and frankly it's a problem we're poorly suited to tackle. Shorter queue cycles may be a good idea tbdesu. Also, adjustment system should reward you for longer term investments you make. It's not ideal but the idea is to try and make it fun for casuals in it just for the Holos but also make it fun for turboautists looking for the thrill of daytrading. IDK. you know if it was confirmed with the notification, but you have no feedback at all after you clicked the button that a call was indeed sent, a "please wait while we contact the server" kinda thing. Right now I often double or triple click it because I'm like "huh, did I click it right?" when really it's just the server being slow. Not him but I sometimes have to hit my autoclicker macro to get a response. Alright here's a wild idea: What if you made dividends daily and tied adjustments to dividends instead of stock price. Then you make the adjustment multiplicative based on how long you've held the stock.

That way daytraders can get small gains from it(100% of the adjustment dividend but reduce them across the board) while casuals can make long term gains(maybe 5% more for each consecutive day you hold a coin, capping at 200%) by being loyal to their oshi.
