As far as I am aware none of the health problems she has discussed are life-threatening. Her patient cohort group tends to live full and productive lives with regular treatment. Even if someone is wheelchair bound or otherwise sick they may recover or the symptoms will tend to go into remission. As far as I can tell she has not said that she is constantly or currently experiencing a bacterial or viral infection. An infection can leave permanent damage but this is not necessarily going to be a show-stopper.

The Sars-Cov-2 virus was understood to leave permanent scarring of lung tissue very early on, followed by indications of permanent/semi-permanent cardio-vascular complications, neurological complications, and immunological complications. A disease that could affect just about anyone had more significantly debilitating long-term consequences than most of her cohort group should expect with the appropriate treatment. Even aids, a once fatal disease, now is no longer a death sentence. People with aids can life relatively normal lives with treatment.

There is no lie in things that were once more serious for a person getting better with the right care. There is no lie in the trauma hanging over them that they feel like they're still at risk or as sick as they were during a worse time. It's worse when viewers project their expectations onto streamers that are sick or disabled for a long time. If things ever start getting better then they might also be afraid that a lot of their support comes from sympathy and savior fantasies. Posts like this only confirm that and encourage people in the public eye to not reveal when their prognosis is improving.
