When companies like Niji and Holo do watchalongs they aren't putting them on their stream, which encourages people to actually go to buy the movie/series that they are watching or at least have it playing on their end. Having a video on that plays louder than your voice while you react minimally in between is basically just leeching off the original creator. If they just put links to what they are watching in the chat or description so that viewers can pull up the content and watch it I wouldn't have a problem since it means the original creator gets a share of the views too.
