I always thought Cover was pretty decent at tard wrangling so I'm not super worried about them. Management on the stars side also hasn't disappointed me with who they hire because the uproar boys are fine. I'm going to watch the debuts but I'm not going to be overly hopeful about them.

Correct. The anime industry is enormous in Japan, so people actually want to work there. Outside Japan and in America specifically, anime still isn't recognized on the same level as other entertainment. When you look at dubbed anime, most of it fucking sucks, because the talent is drawn elsewhere to more lucrative and respected work. Same thing here. You're picking from the bottom of the barrel of guys who couldn't make it on twitch. Why become a vtuber and limit what you can do unless you have no choice?
