What do they have to be scared about? Vshojo and Cover do different types of content so the market overlap isn't nearly as big as you think. If Pekora wants to leave she's free to do so, and a good chunk of her fans will follow her. If she drops the idol persona and starts talking about boyfriends many of those fans will leave, but that's her choice to make as a grown woman.
