Nah, Coco was streaming to the very end, multiple times per day. Had a cover, an original song and a Gen 4 original song all released in the final week. Had an outfit reveal, tons of collabs both on her channel and others channels, even did an interview with Yagoo and an episode of Holotalk (which Kiara has said that they didn't have time to do one for Sana). Unless Coco got special treatment for being a bigger name, it's not part of the process.

Popular theory is it's the EN3/ENStars debut week, and they would want to avoid shifting debut dates too much as they want to keep them spaced out if they can. Of course we won't know until that week hits, and even then we may never really know if that doesn't end up being the reason.

One optimistic justification I guess could be that if they want to give her the full Coco finale of having a final talk with everyone and a segment with Council which will require recording it, editing it, translations and all that jazz. If they went the extra mile and let her "use" her 3D model for a final performance (as in more likely getting a stand-in to move it around and/or an animator to fake it). But I'm also not too willing to be that optimistic in case her graduation stream is just going to be her by herself for an hour in her usual set-up.

This is the copiest post I've ever made but please hear me out... Is it possible at all that Sana might return some day down the line? There's not much precedent for it, and there's zero precedent in Hololive. That said, once the character design and live2d rig exist, they're basically available forever. The setup cost is in creating them and casting the role, so there's essentially no technical or financial barrier to someone returning so long as they have the machine to stream from (Hololive's model capture relies on an iPhone app I think, but that's about it wrt hardware barriers).
The main obstacles to it ever happening are:
- The hassle of setting up the performance contract (not really a major problem or acting wouldn't be a thing)
- Mutual will on the part of the corporation and the performer. This is the kicker; an organization like Hololive wouldn't be remotely manageable if their performers just dropped in and out on a whim, so there needs to be a damn good justification to bringing someone back in for a special appearance.

I mean, if Coco came back any time before a full year had passed it would've felt very awkward after the massive sendoff they gave her her last month, and now that we're a year out that window's closed with her joining another company. Plus she left Hololive to become a massively successful indie and Sana's not in the position to do that.

Honestly the likeliest thing is Sana doing a guest appearance at some sort of event down the line which is common practice in the idol industry. Wouldn't require her to commit to another long-term thing with Hololive and wouldn't eat into her RM's work. It would be nice to at least see all of Council on a stage together some day even if she doesn't fully return to Hololive.

Honestly I would be unsurprised if it was partly a matter of her not being satisfied with an "Ayame-type" arrangement just from a personal standards POV. Member streams, for instance, essentially became a thing that she obviously couldn't justify to herself given her limited time from both her other work and her back issues. We already had Flare as an example, regardless of what people want to say about her model looking weird or whatever. To me, that was part of the reason she was hired. Almost none, I accepted the fact that Sana will be gone forever and I cried all night when her graduation was announced. I like to think that she'll be better in the future and may return to Hololive in a distant future, but that's a false hope unless there's something on her contract that would allow that to happen. But then I remembered that they said to Aloe that the doors will always be open for her to come back, it brought a little hope in my heart that the same was possible with Sana but I still don't think that will happen.

I have hope that maybe in the future she will become a mama of an EN4 member.
