I think I'm done with Hololive. I found myself attached to Rushia and I obsessively listened to her and every single one of her collabs. I re-ordered my life according to her schedule and streams and losing her and also access to all her past videos really hurt. I don't care at all for any of the EN Gen but found Sana's voice very endearing and cute to listen to and her sporadic schedule allowed me to keep up with all of her streams.

nah man, she was really the glue that held them together. had wholesome interactions with all of them, and was one of the few who could get Mumei to act normal in the early days. Sana's first break was when Kronii and Fauna had their civil war and when Sana came back she pushed all that fake drama aside and they all had cake. Mori and Bae get along very very well, but you could tell when the Council girls started getting weird together in their particular way, Calli kinda tuned out a bit like she tends to do. A lot of the Council collabs minus Sana were pretty dysfunctional in not always entertaining ways. whenever Kronii Fauna and Mumei were together they get into bantz and Bae, if she's there, gets left behind. when all five of them were together Sana helped bridge the gaps and that got them to either focus on a goal or act more as a unit, like for the MC builds.. I can only hope the off-collabs helped fix this dynamic a bit between the four of them.

Sana was just one of those squishy personalities that didn't really clash anywhere, and I think that's what some people saw as "debut mode" because that's usually a trait that fades over time. but that's just the kind of dork she was and that's what made her special.

Anyone else feel kinda guilty about Sana? The rational part of my mind tells me that there were multiple factors at play and ultimately it's her decision to graduate. Yeah but she was still pulling about 4-5 hours, not counting collabs. She was definitely doing better, but it seemed like the back issue killed her from ever doing the magical 7-10 hour endurance streams that were the most special.

The biggest problem for her is she never seemed to think about using her Holo channel as a depository for edited content or experimental content. If she hadn't been so focused on only streaming and even avoiding work zatsus and art, she could have really made the channel something to compliment her work activities rather than be separate from it.

Even now I feel like someone could present her with a gameplan that would make the Holo-channel totally plausible for her to keep, but it would require her to totally rethink how she uses it so far. I'm not sure management ever cared that much anyway.

Sana had probably the best debut stream. It showed how creative and funny she could be. But between Susan culling her numbers hard twice, the month long break and the back problems, she never got her momentum going. I also like the nostalgic 80s anime feeling of her design.
