Part of it is just her germanic bluntness / autism, being oblivious to american social cues, so she can come off as more "rude" to people who aren't used to dealing with such people (I'm northern european myself, so it's always funny to me when especially americans get all pissy and offended at such a type and I think it's completely normal), but another part is that most of the rest of EN have more reserved / introverted / wet-blanket type of personality, so Kiara (being more talkative and take-charge) just by comparison sticks out more as unusual (this has gotten better over time, as both she attuned more to the vibe of her mates, and her mates opened up more and became a little more outgoing over time).
