my favorite twitch streamer streams 5 days a week, 5 hours a day (about 9am-2pm my time), and the stream is usually filled with entertaining banter and commentary. Plus they take off time any time their sick or theres a holiday or if its been a while since there last vacation. The fanbase is usually pretty supportive too. The occasional shitters who complain about inane bs usually get dogpiled out or called out by the actual strimmer
So yeah, idk. I dont agree with the 10 hour a day "grindset". All you're doing by doing that is avoiding the reality of your life and making streaming your life. Especially people like Mang0 who stream 12 hours a day AND have a wife and kid, wtf are you doing dude

Let’s take Pekora for example, this year so far she made ~270k off SC before any cuts. After cuts she gets $94.5k.

When you're on youtube you can view any video at any time, so it's fine even if they're not always streaming if there's a huge backlog you can catch up on. I personally enjoy the shorter streams. It was one of the reasons I got into it. Twitch streamers seem to only have neets and children as their target audience, it's impossible to keep up with a series. I can only enjoy stuff like speedruns, since I can watch any run and have fun, without needing to watch anything before or after.
