It's obvious Cover has a lot of issues with having a talent under the same roof as somebody from a rival company that's just entering the Japanese market, and that meeting was obviously about that, but directly asking her to move out is retarded. KanaMari collabs always deliver, their lie detector collab might be my favourite non-event stream. Shame how little their schedules matched this year, both where on break for long periods of time and when one of them managed to stream the other one couldn't, it's even happening now since Marine is streaming a lot and is on an offcollab streak but by the time Kanata returns to streaming, Marine will have to stream less due to her schedule being busier starting from the second half of July.

My only hope is that if Kanata gets back into ARK, she doesn't go full degen about it again. I don't have anything against ARK streams in particular or the game (besides it being a buggy mess) but there was a point where her schedule was an overwhelming majority of ARK and even in non-ARK streams she'd still be talking about ARK and mentioning being addicted to it.

I have a lot against ARK itself, but I love back to back prolonged ARK streams so I won't complain about that. Though I do think Kanata could do with finding a few more games that she really likes instead of just jumping from flavor of the week to flavor of the week, if only to broaden her perspective a little. Kson said that during their train trip she'd bring up ARK whenever they came across a big natural scenery with mountains, forests, etc... which is kind of cute, but also reminds me of how Kanata still has a pretty narrow view of games in general.

Her main games used to be Mario Kart, Minecraft and Monster Hunter at least for a while, unfortunately both of them somewhat live or die by who else is playing. There's only so much you can do in non-collab MK and MC, Monster Hunter is having it's resurgence now with Sunbreak which she's unfortunately missing and she seems hesitant to commit to longer games, either due to schedule or a weird obsession that she has to do Yakuza first and it's not working properly.

Kanata will still catch both Sunbreak and ARK if she comes back early August. Most members aren't in a hurry about clearing it. There are always means to catch up and have fun with others. It's all up to her desire to participate at all which feels like the most limiting factor for Kanata.
