My fear is that the line of communication wasn't Ame, with Kiara CC'd -> Cover's rendering and editing team, on what they can and can't accept. It was probably Ame -> Kiara -> Jenma -> JP Production Manager, and probably not even talking with the people who had to work with the files to begin with.
Doesn't really matter the industry, that kind of telephone game communication will make shit go sideways.
