So doing a quick yen to USD conversion through google, Anykara made ~10.7 million dollars in profit for the year 2021. Going by how the IPO released-

I looked up the stock price as early as I could find it which was 6.5k yen on June 10th, apparently the IPOs pricing was set on May 31st so there's no telling how different it was but I'll make the nebulous assumption this was the value and it hadn't risen too much in the mean time.

1.1 million stocks * 6.5k yen = ~52.8 million USD.

So the money Anykara got from their IPO was about as much as they predict they'll make in 2022 and 2023 combined, if they simply follow their normal operations.

What are they even spending their money on? Nijisanji is already making over 10 million dollars in profit, that's about how much Vshoujo had in seed funding, but its not like anything expensive is in obviously the works for Anykara, what do they need 50 million on top of that for?

Being cute is not even her main charm. Only EOPs calling her cute. There are a lot of cute vtubers but they got nowhere as popular as those blue women.
Her personality when she's speaking in ID is just funny as hell, and her ability to maintain fun interactions with her fans is top-notch. I used to be annoyed by her but after watching two of her streams I was hooked and decided that she's the best ID vtuber ever. No one has ever been as good as her.

This is kind of interesting. Well, it’s not new information but rather another confirmation of what ad revenue brings.
Basically, Charlie was calling out content creators capitalizing on Technoblade’s death by spamming low quality, clickbait videos involving him by channels looking to profit on it. There was one case though where some guy got called out and said he’d donate the money ($1k) he made to charity. Charlie rebuked this though saying that the guy should have made MINUMUM $2.5-3k off adsense as his vods had around 3 million views.

Given how massive he is on the platform, it’s easy to say that he’s probably telling the truth here. So creators at minimum get $1 per 1000 views.
If we used Gura as an example, even with her breaks she still earns about 9-12 million views a month. For arguments sake, if she was earning 10 million views a month, she’d be earning $10k a month purely off ads MINIMUM.

Dudul showed his stats and this checks out for his higher revenue videos, but shorts and some other videos make way less.

10k in ads in Gura's channel checks out too, and it goes to show how peanuts that must be consider they must have made a whole lot more than that with her 1h shill streams alone in sponsorship money.
That's why most content creators prefer to go the "Raid Shadow Legends" route to the grind and grow views route
