The shitfest that Nijisanji and Hololives JP branches have been through in the past is massive compared to the pittance of the EN branches.
In both cases both of them shuttered an entire branch, both for different reasons. Nijisanji killed 2 entire managements recently. Hololive lost sponsorships and basically got blacklisted from the entirety of China because of a few nationalist spergs sperging out about Taiwan as always.
NDAs broken. Sexual relationship claims for both. Videos removed for criminal activity and luckily none of them actually faced any proceedings as far as we know.
