They have so many auditions that they won't waste more than a couple of seconds if you don't grab their attention from the get go and stay interesting until the end. I know this sounds brutal but you have to understand that the people combing through these don't have all the time in the world to watch multiple minute length videos. As for the reason you want to join think about what you want to accomplish while being part of the Stars. Don't go for ultra major goals like a concert or a big sponsor, but the type of content you want to make (music, gaming, voice acting, ttrpg whatever) and what kind of vtuber you want to be.
