While I could do better on my Kson VoD reps, I don’t think her joining Vshojo is going to complicate things with other members like Iron Mouse. For a while, it seemed like Holomembers couldn’t acknowledge her existence (unless you’re the Chad Princess Luna) and then one day after Kson had a bunch of “friends” over she suddenly became mutuals on twitter with a lot of them, with occasional brief mentions on stream and light twitter interactions. Much more expansive. I didn't like story at all, I understand that I'm probably missing all the references and campaign is 85% references for old players but still. The way the conflict was described initially made me feel like I'm supposed to be sympathetic towards the other side and I waited for side flip for half the campaign. The videos are just terrible, I have no fucking idea what they even tried to do with them because they feel extremely unnecessary and tacked on. The way they handled few final missions also felt insanely disappointing, the "god-pilot" who got so much attention in those videos gets killed off offhandedly during a mission which is just burglary with murder on the side and then everyone defeats two god-drones with power of friendship. Very cool. And since PW is my only base for comparison, the way Monarch ends up the ultimate pilot actually feels like it leads the story somewhere and affects the world in good and bad way while here people just sometimes jerk you off "Trigger you're so good, pilot your penis into my vagina".
Gameplay-wise, I didn't mind radar mission at all, it was very easy. The canyon flight one was one of the most fun ones actually. But the ones where you have to identify things first felt terrible. The idea's maybe nice, the execution is bad since all it does is add another attack run half the time or make you do annoyingly risky charges (almost) into the ground. Plane customization with only one weapon feels much more stiff even with ability to alter plane stats with extra mods compared to PW multi-weapon customization which lets you create a lot more flexible loadouts. The high-speed turn I didn't like at all because I felt like it makes the planes feel very samey compared to PW where changing to some lategame planes feels comfortable with how responsive they are compared to some early-game ones. I could probably add more but I feel this is already a long list.
