I really don’t understand why they chose to release HS now. It doesn’t really hype up the EP and it doesn’t have any noticeable producer behind it. Feels like it could have been released after the full ep dropped.

NTA but its a common occurrence with these big companies. They step in and meddle with production thinking they know better, then blame the artist/dev/whatever when things go sour.

A prime example is how EA tanked the Dead Space IP by forcing the developer to make it more action-oriented and to include shit like co-op. Those were decisions from company suits, and when the game underperformed the development studio paid the price and got shut down.

Yeah I want Mori to be successful, but even if they pull funding Mori has shown she’s able to produce great music all on her own so I’m not too worried. That being said, her stuff is selling out so I don’t see how she would be considered a flop in any sense.
