Pomu, Elira and Selen are the best streamers IMO.

Pomu has got that just like me otaku appeal, likes the same things you do, extremely cute and passionate about her interests. Funny and creative.
Ellira has got that older sister/girl next door appeal. Comforting to listen to, long streams, also very cute, strong singer, can be really funny too but also relaxing and laid back.
Selen has got that tomboy gamer gf appeal, she plays a bunch of games that people would call based while being good at FPS. Occasionally does cute things that highlight her gap moe and that she is actually a girl and not just one of the bros.

Elira has a great banter with her viewers, reads a lot of chat, and she treats everyone equally no matter if they are members or superchatters or not. She also does long streams, loves spicy drama in games, and loves to sing.

Hands down the best EN chuuba. I dont think many vtubers radiate the same amount of passion and enthusiasm to stream as Pomu does. She goes above and beyond in everything she does, she's very cute, doesn't do gfe but isn't above fanservice. Just, the best around. The closest one to a variety streamer in NijiEN.

I think that out of NijiEN she ends up feeling the most "gfe" even though she doesn't really do stuff like say she's your gf or that she loves you. But I think she easily the vtuber that enjoys talking with her chat the most and you can tell based off her voice. She plays a lot of Genshin and picked up the Xenoblade series, her membership content is a lot of HxH watchalongs, she has a great singing voice and seems to be one of the ones that does English karaokes the most often.

A really horny, dumb feesh. Has a lot of gacha content, currently playing through Yakuza. I think her heart is in the right place most of the time, but she ends up pissing off people /here/ for how brazen she is with certain things. If you watch one of her streams you'll know if she's your type of vtuber or not. Most people either love her or hate her.
>Rosemi
The worst case of wasted potential in NijiEN. 9 months ago I would have called her Pomu 2.0 or a cuter Pomu that lacked in every other area that made Pomu great. She used love chatting with her rosebuds, put on some very good creative streams that are still worth checking out even today (Great Game Show, RNL, Detective Rosemi). Now she mostly seems interested in collabing, and then mostly with males despite how much the girls adore her, has a terrible singing voice and is at least a top 3 pick for the worst game choices in NijiEN.
Like watching cute animal videos, you get bore after 5 or 10 minutes because being cute is all she really has to offer.

I think she's very underrated. In my mind she's made the greatest strides as a streamer in terms of her personality and relationship to chat. Honestly her game choice is very poor and she also has a big focus on collabing (but has always been upfront about it), but she's fun to chill with and feels like the "realest" person in NijiEN. She's perfect for when you're tired of antics and just want to have nice conversation. Also very teaseable.

Hands down the funniest person in the group. Divine singing voices, a lot of streams focused on arts and crafts, and cooking, game choice is okay and she mostly seems to collab in games anyways, but she synergizes with everyone so well it's kind of amazing. If you like self-deprecating wit and someone that can dishes out bantz to chat, she's your girl.

My second EN vtuber. Extremely hardworking, has the sunniest attitude, says the most fucking bizarre things, is very funny, is very cute, is a great singer, has a lot of very creative content, has good game choices. Millie is a really well-rounded streamer that says the funniest shit, every time she wants a biology/anatomy lesson about male genitalia you're in for a good time.

In case OP is worried about that, Pomu's streams have been quite male-free since the Uki yab except for some very rare group collabs. She had a total of 3 collabs in the last 3 weeks, with her solo content going strong as ever.

Ok the original 3 were Pomu, Elira, Finana
Together they are called "Lazulight" the best vtuber group to ever exist. On their own, these three are fine. But together, they make magic happen. They're greater than the sum of their parts.

Pomu
An off-kilter creative streamer who's always basking in memes and doing creative things. She's also got a lovable personality and a hardcore following from her days as a small indie. She's basically a variety streamer that streams all sorts of things.
Finana
The lewd one. She makes lots of lewd comments and keeps getting into lewd situations. Although recently she's tried to clean up her act. Basically she really loves gacha games and long game playthroughs.
Elira
Probably the most charismatic of Lazulight, and the clear leader of NijiEN. She also has a managerial role, and many of the people hired for NijiEN were friends of hers, back from her indie days. Her and Pomu were actually good friends as indies together. She's the most mature and seiso of the bunch, although that one time she got drunk challenged this perception.

Debuting next was "Obsydia". They actually auditioned at the same time as Lazulight, and have been there from the very beginning. They have very weak teamwork dynamics, but are notoriously strong in competitions together.

Selen
A hardcore FPS gamer who was a top-rank in Apex back in the day. She still streams Apex a lot, and she's extremely good at it. She laughs a lot, which makes her streams very entertaining. Although she has a tomboy persona, she loves cute things.
Rosemi
Another strong gamer. Rosemi is very intelligent, and streamed full time even as a college intern. She's known for being very unique as a streamer, and often has new creative stream ideas. She's cute and seiso, and tries to never swear.
Petra
She's well known as a digital effects artist. Most of the other Niji's overlays were done by her. She typically streams niche games, and her piano playing streams are fantastic. She's a bit passive aggressive in her personality, and known to be a bully target.

Ethyria debuted next. As a group there's not much to say about them, although Millie and Enna have a very close friendship.

Millie
Kind of a fun gremlin as a streamer. She has a really silly sense of humor. Her ASMR is the best I've heard, seriously fantastic. Very tight friendship with Enna, who she made mandatory to hire with her. She was very beloved as an indie, and was friends with Pomu and Elira in those days.
Enna
A wry personality and a dry wit, she's Millie's less seiso other half. She's known for her fantastic singing ability. Her collab streams with Millie are lots of fun to watch, they've known each other for years and meet up together frequently IRL (sometimes they get Elira involved in their shenanigans)
Reimu
A hispanic girl from Columbia, she's become sort of a female self-insert and associates a lot with the boys. Many female fans ship her with Vox. She's talented and sweet, and her karaoke isn't that bad.
Nina
A ukrainian girl who's caused scandals in the past. She's unique as a vtuber because she plays a mommy character, and definitely isn't trying to be your girlfriend. She associates a lot with the boys, and even attended their offcollabs. She likes gentle chatting streams.

Debuting next is Luxiem, who became an absolute smash hit as some of the first major English male vtubers. Although initially they made some attempt to appeal to guys, they're 100% for female appeal these days.

Vox Akuma
Made all the girls lose their minds with his deep voice. His fans are known to be coomers. He's always doing lewd ASMR steams and roleplay streams, and they absolutely eat it up. Many of his female fans are convinced he's dating them.
Luca Kaneshiro
Known to be youthful and childish in his attitude. He's the zoomer of the bunch, and has been described as an excitable little puppy. He has tons of chibi art. Also he's known to be quite athletic IRL, and can do lots of pushups, flagpole stands, and was a runner too.
Ike Eveland
The soft boy of the bunch. He's swedish and speaks in a gentle way. Although he also has talent as a singer, specifically swedish death metal. He might be the most mature of the group.
Mysta Rias
Very charismatic and fun, he's always getting into some kind of trouble. He's got a comedian type personality, and is generally funny. Lots of his female fans are concernfags worried he's about to kill himself with all the dumb stuff he gets up to. He was also a small beloved indie who streamed with Pomu and Elira in the old days.
Shu Yamino
Japanese and old friend of Elira. He's more of the nerdy mathematical type. Many of his fans are japanese.

Selen is the closest thing any corporation currently has to a brotuber, even though she's a girl. Very focused on actually playing games and hanging out with chat.
Millie has good ASMR and very goofy humor.
Rosemi, if you can ignore the scandals relating to her past life, feels the most like a Hololive member in Niji. She actually reminds me quite a bit of Haachama in the way that she feels endearingly clumsy and spontaneous, but she's not as genuine as Haachama (nobody is, really.)
