The HoloID server is very new, though. The newest of them all. They were given some materials to start with and made a tower with them.

JP is miles of ultra-flat terrain, lagging the fuck out of the game with all the gaudy "houses", pixel art, random farms and shit

EN is like a frontier that has a few hot spots and the rest is just wilderness. Paths are carved out in the mountains, where JP would just fucking nuke the mountain and 10 adjacent chunks. The most hilarious part was JPs seeing a snow biome for the first time on the EN server, because most of them usually stick to the central four-region quadrant around the spawn.

I thought the reason for ID didn't have their own server is because there were only three of them at the beginning. That's why they joined JP server. Moona is autist, so she built a lot. Iofi, Idk about her. Risu maybe thought they only rent the land, so she didn't built much aside for Korone Statue, Onigiri house, and her upside-down house. When ID Gen 2 came out, the land was already full with stuffs so neither of them built many things on minecraft. And when they got their own server, they could build anything they want without worrying about other branch

Seriously, it comes down to how cities are built.

JP server is like a crowded street in an old city that's been built layer upon layer in a tight space, like the unorganized, older parts of Tokyo. There was no rhyme or reason to it, and nobody knew how to play Minecraft when it was started. They just build stuff, mostly for aesthetics, or individual projects. JP is the largest branch, and ID lived on their server until they got their own - so it's a mess of dozens of people all working on their own stuff.

EN server started as the wild west, and turned into the suburbs. Most of them really didn't know much, but they knew enough to get some early organization in. They have the advantage of having the JP server to reference, and some seniors to consult. They might have had more crazy stuff by now, but they mostly are limited by resources, interest, and the fact they have a substantially smaller population.

ID server was started by a relatively small group, one of which is basically a minecraft pro. The others had mostly played on the JP server, so even if they didn't play it for fun off-stream, they knew at least partially what they were doing. So it basically became a planned out city. They don't step on each others toes, they design stuff in creative before building it, and they probably run stuff by Moona before building to make sure they don't screw anything up.
