For what it's worth, I'm an overseas Japanese and I think Anya might be descended from Japanese immigrants as well. In one of her streams, she used the word "デコさん" to refer to a doll, which I've never heard any Japanese in Japan use before, but is actually the common word for doll in the community where I live.
