Not really no most of the Apex streams before were between 20-30k like now, hype collabs and tournaments would go over. If you look at when he played Monster Hunter and Genshin which were both after those were both around 30k too. The difference betwen games people want to watch and don't.

She did have a great debut which also helped a lot but almost all of them don't, including many of the ones that are right at the top now. I still think the single most important factor was the timing of it, in September most people had never even heard of v-tubers except for maybe Kizuna Ai and a couple of Korone or Pekora clips where they spoke Japanese. Even if EN2 has an incredibly popular breakout star almost everyone that isn't a total normalfag knows about Hololive and that they have English speaking streamers, it's not a novelty any more and the HoloEN viewer figures show that a lot of the casuals have stopped caring already
