It's very obvious what's happened here.

When they first got into Hololive they all had dreams, goals, and desires that they wanted to accomplish. They wanted to give back to Hololive and its community as much as they'd receive.

That's no longer the case. Now they see Hololive more as a tool to fulfill their selfish desires and little else. It'd be fine, if they also cared about the community too, but that part of them has flown the coop so to speak. They... don't really care about us anymore. In the beginning they valued us, they valued our opinion and wanted to give as much as they received. Now they give this impression that they feel they've 'done their reps' so to speak and should now be able to reap all the rewards of being IN Hololive without putting in the actual effort.

Hololive, to them, is now just a platform for them to boost their roommates career/future and to take advantage of all the benefits of being in a high profile, exclusive group.

Astel has talked about and was in a similar position about his 3D birthday live concert lore thing. The biggest issue with him was that he was going over the allotted budget Cover had for it. Management initally denied it because of that even if he was to pay for it was it still deemed too much for the talent. Shinove got involved and worked things out between the two parties so something similar to what he wanted could happen.
It sounds like Kiara was initally staying within budget but the studios were too much because she waited too long.
