her voice has changed, much less of the character voice she started with. just listen to anything in 2020/21 and compare to one of her last streams at home.
goxlr settings aren't that fucked anymore either. a year ago she was peaking basically every other word even when talking normally and that was difficult to listen to. that barely happens anymore.
what do you suggest she should use instead? one of the yamahas or a rodecaster? if she can't setup a goxlr properly she will never figure out something like picrel.
the settings and/or mic placement changed a bit after mori was there, so perhaps she gave her some tips.

I just compared the videos and while her voice doesn't seem as different, the recording from her more recent post-release talk still has this sort of bright higher frequency sound, which doesn't seem to be there when she uses her travel mic. So yeah, seems like it's really the setup of her mic and mixer that makes the difference.

Kiara has really spoiled me.
I'm already so used to the way she treats us that it now pisses me off when I see some other vtubers (to one degree or another) not paying attention to fans outside of the streams, disappear for days without a single word, don't say a bit of extra information, etc. Not that I'm going schizo, I like them, but I clearly lose interest in everything they do.
And it makes me upset that because of the offcollabs Kiara now also has to restrict herself. She probably won't even tell us what cities she's visited. Although I'm glad she's having fun.
I miss Kiwawa.

I hope Kiara doesn't play holocure or VS (even if cure is pretty cute), people call them chatting games but most streams just devolve into reacting to what's happening in the game moment to moment with very little time to actually chat. And everyone in the stream chat tries to backseat the streamer into their pet build at the same time. It's a numbers magnet for some reason but the streams are so boring.
