How is Mori getting a record deal with Universal Records a flex?

Since it's Mori that the record deal is under and not her rm then , wouldn't Cover just take majority of the profits that she would get from her album sales? At that point they'd just force her to make album after album to constantly bring in sales.

Plus it's not like her rm is good enough on her own to go and get a record label since she wouldn't have the backing that hololive provides

Because Cover's contracts with regular members aren't the same as their vsinger contracts for Azki/Irys. From what we know, for regular members (eg Watame), they do their own music stuff for the most part and Cover is pretty hands off.
Of course with something like this they might have needed Cover to be more involved but it doesn't necessarily mean Cover will "take all the profits".

Aren't they both under INNK MUSIC? Hololive owns that record label since it's something the company created. I'm sure Cover got their legal team involved in the contract signings to ensure they receive majority profits.

INNK got dissolved in April when Azki's contract expired. After that Azki moved to Hololive proper and Irys was via Cover from the start.
