so bora won the first cr cup that towa played in and towa got to know her briefly then (she played a bit with her and another dead towafriend). It was later when towa was doing cr cup again and she asked ojiji to hook her up with a team
ojiji being the numberfag and rich yakuza businessman that he is thinks for a moment and wonders if selly would be okay
selly had a bad experience the last cr cup and wasn't interested in playing this time, so ojiji promised to put selly on a team with a strong korean girl who cpt was shilling because cpt and bora are good friends
bora helped selly and towa get close and while they had a disappointing finish (4th or 5th place or something) towa and bora ended up playing and talking late into the night with each other and got to know each other really well. It seems like the two of them shared a lot of interests and values (seems that both of them are close to the mom and don't really have much of a father figure in their lives for instance) so they ended up talking a lot more behind the scenes. Eventually it was pretty clear given how often Bora and Towa would play with each other and how they would interact on each other's streams (ex. towa-chan doko, bora singing palette, etc.) that the two had grown quite close, to the point that towa even dragged her favorite hag botan to play with bora and cpt in a bf5 streamer event.
but it all came to a head when due to a variety of reasons (bora had to take a hiatus due to health issues/school stress, and then combined with NijiKR burning down) bora decided to graduate. she told towa beforehand though and towa had a menhera episode which caused the kenzoku thread to lose what little mental stability it had left. ever since then we've been complaining that towa's mental has been bad and that if only bora was still here that she'd be okay. the end.

I think the defrosting of Selly was one of the most magical parts of YKP. The difference between Towa being kind of intimidated and stressed at the beginning of scrims to them fucking around with the emote bug and laughing their asses off a few days later was pretty wonderful.
