This is not just a problem with /lig/. It's the reason this entire board should have never existed in the first place. It's the reason the idea of discussing ecelebs is mocked everywhere else on this site. You can't hypercritally obsess over people the way you can a game, TV series, or any other board topic. I think I said something to this effect in a thread yesterday but every time I take a peek out into the rest of the board I feel like I'm in an insane asylum or something. Nobody cares about the people they're watching, they just see them as a figurehead for whatever tribalistic console war they want to take part in. When I started I thought the same thing. After a while it changed. It felt like a waste of time if I was making OC for vtubers that would never see it or if I didn't get credit after so much time put into OC.
