Some news that's important for the OP:

Apparently Yona (Wiffy) was incorporated into V-llage (the one with Hapu) a few days ago. Therefore, I suggest that we add V-llage to the OP and move Yona under it. It would be good to do this after/around the Plumverse graduations, it'll give us some space in the OP.

V-Lup are continuing their plans to debut their next batch of vtubers after the delay due to KOITEN's implosion, so around 1~2 months from now. From what I remember, it'll be a total of 6. With 3 released first, then another three following a few months later. Apparently Jooin (Yuya) met the 2nd gen already and the meeting went well. So here's hoping it turns out well for them.

Yeah what a complete surprise. Even Loe and Hapu didn't know that Yona was joining. The V-llage announcement stream was hilarious with Yona seemingly being in the position being able to make demands to the village mayor. It was also pretty fun seeing Hapu spaz over her oshi, Yona, joining V-llage.

As for Yona, she says it's just an MCN contract so the only real change is her fan community moving from Naver Cafe to V-llage community forum (which is pretty cool btw, with level up from posting and unlocking coupons in future merchs) and her stream contents or frequency will not change. Yona's pretty much a mercenary vs Loe and Hapu who have different contract with V-llage. She did, however, announce on her stream yesterday that it has been decided that the personal 3D model that she had been working on would be scrapped in favour of the one provided by V-llage: something about how having two different 3D model may lead to confusion and dilute branding efforts.

More from the V-llage announcement stream, they are going to reveal 3D models for all three of their talent in the second half of the year, and that they are hoping to debut or bring in (like in Yona's case) up to 30 new talents by the 2nd half of next year, and in 2024, go international. There was also another goal for first half of next year, but I can't remember what that was. They did say they were working on an immersive virtual concert unlike the usual fare for vtubers: the parent company of V-llage is a company working in that field. https://devmate.net/

Oh a couple of things I forgot to mention:
V-llage talents will not be using the typical generation senpai-kouhai structure. They are currently holding auditions until the 26th for the next wave of vtubers who will probably debut around August/September. Lastly, they have no plans for male talents (RIP)
