It's streaming but with an extra layer of fun and entertainment added. Plus you get to hide your ugly self with a nice anime character.
That said, there are plenty of people in the retro shooter community who never show their face and just post videos of them playing through levels or showcasing new mods. I'd be more likely to do that instead if I ever thought the market wasn't saturated enough.

Motives are pretty simple:
>Streaming helps me slowly get better at managing my social anxiety
>Having a virtual avatar let's viewers see my reactions without needing an actual facecam
>I can be a cute girl

And goals are also pretty straightforward:

The main reason why is because I had second thoughts about using a webcam and putting my face out there to such an extent

And I also just, really like the concept of just seeing/having an animated version of myself

I've been looking for a while now, but it's been difficult finding an artist/rigger that's not stress-inducingly expensive

Plan on spending my check on them when bitchass Biden gives me my fucking money, but still, it's a very stressful experience trying to find one

Extremely worried I'll end up not liking how it turns out and I'll have wasted that money

I'm disabled and an actual fag, which means being a wageslave is kinda difficult atm especially with the pandemic happening.

I'm also not delusional and think that I'm entertaining enough to be a full time streamer who will get like 500 viewers or even earn a livable wage with my personality by making funny youtube videos, but I'm hoping that maybe I could maybe get a big enough audience
or network with others of say 20-150 people to the point where I can maybe make a living selling art commissions or developing videogames on itchio.

I'm currently working on voice training atm so my speaking voice sounds less wimpy and inconsistent and so I can put more power into it.

None of you should become twitch affiliate, it's absolutely horrible for you and an utter meme. Just multistream on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook and get a chat that that can show messages from all the different sites, than keep streaming until you have like 150-500 viewers or something and than choose the platform that best suits you. Twitch affiliate cucks your growth from having some accidental viral moment that no one can predict with the youtube algorithm.
