Maybe I'm dumb but wouldn't an Irys 3D model be very complex? Most Holomem's have short hair or long hair but in a simple style that's easy to translate into 3D, but Irys has this complexity to her hair in 2D that seems hard to replicate in 3D.

Imo, among all upgrades, 3D helps IRyS the least.
1) 3d are used mainly in 3D lives
2) IRyS may use home 3D but most holo 3D are uglier than L2D, which defeats the purpose of using it
3) IRyS might not be able to make good use of full-body home 3D like Ame (trampoline, handspring, the worm)
4) IRyS might not be an amazing 3D avatar pilot (Miko is the only one in Holo)

According to this poll, half of the people are not satisfied with IRyS’ appearance. Miko did get a boost in fans after her model upgrade.

Towa’s Error and Suisei’s Ghost put them on the map, if Cover wants to boost IRyS it must start by utilizing IRyS’ forte. Watame and Towa have a lot of decent orisongs, IRyS who lives in virtual japan with similar conditions/connections should be able to get a good orisong, if management is more cooperative or considerate. But nothing will change Till the end of me

IRyS is a singer, so having a 3D model would let her do concerts, events, and holofes. Look at how many people didn't know that Moona and Risu could sing until after holofes, and imagine how much putting her in front of that audience would benefit her. Plus, Sora's already dragged her into multiple 3D streams where she's had to be either a cutout or in a frame, so why not just get her model so she can participate in them properly? IRyS is literally the person in hololive who would benefit from a 3D the most, although I do agree a new outfit or even a 2.0 on her first one would benefit her just as much, if not more.
