Cover probably didn't have the nerve to question an artist as famous as RedJuice because of the stupid East-Asian culture of "face."

Model is so bad, though. Blurry lines, weird shading and texture especially on the nose, oddly-shaped derpy eyes, gigantic mouth, even the ears stick out at a weird angle and don't look cute, and it's just overdesigned in general. The heterochromia and asymmetrical features don't help either. What a botched design. Most fanartists can't even make it look good.
