Because recovering from her condition needs actual silence. That involves talking and even whispering. You aren't supposed to use your voice at all for an extended period of time. If she hasn't mentioned doing a watchalong, she likely didn't get a go signal from the doctor or is at least waiting until she rests a full 4 weeks as she originally planned to. Though admittedly, she doesn't talk much about what happens behind the scenes, which is pretty normal for her.

Nodules are built up over a period of time rather than something you just get. If she used her voice in a way that developed them, this was going to happen for as long as she kept streaming. Stopping long weekend streams and voice training probably helped a bit but like mentioned, you need to fully rest to actually recover.
